Robotics & Coding Holiday Workshop Presented by Catalyst Learning Academy | Montgomery Park Looking for something meaningful and educational for your child to do during the school holidays? Catalyst Learning Academy invites children aged 9–13 to explore the exciting world of robotics through a practical, hands-on workshop designed to develop creativity, problem-solving skills and confidence. Over two weekends, learners will be introduced to the fundamentals of electronics and coding, before putting their new knowledge into practice by building their own working robotics projects. What will your child learn? * Electronics: Understand how electrical circuits work and how different components connect. * Coding: Learn basic programming concepts and how to use code to control devices. * Robotics: Explore how sensors, motors and electronic components come together to create functioning robots. * Practical problem-solving: Experiment, troubleshoot and develop solutions through guided activities. More than just a holiday activity Children learn best when they can experiment, ask questions and see their ideas come to life. Our workshop provides an opportunity to step away from screens and engage with technology in a creative, practical way. Whether your child already has an interest in technology or is completely new to robotics, the workshop is designed to introduce these concepts in an accessible and enjoyable way.
